Quilt Factory
Thanks to our new missionary couple, Elder and Sister Allen, Sister Petchey has learnt how to make tie quilts so this skill is now being passed on to all her sisters in the Athens 2 branch.

Seminary Graduation and Institute Recognition
On Saturday 11th June 2016 we held our Seminary Graduation and Institute Recognition evening at Halandri Chapel. It was a splendid evening. We were so proud of all our students.

Athens Seniors
With the arrival of Elder and Sister Allen from Southern Utah there are now four couples serving in the Athens area.

Athens Youth Madrid Temple Trip
Ever since arriving here the temple has influenced our approach to everything. We so wanted the youth in Athens to have temple experiences. We hope this event will not be a one off. Watch the video, it tells the story, at least in part.

Market Day
Just around the corner from our apartment, every Monday, is a street market. It must be at least a mile long. For those who prefer the hustle and bustle of it to the serene, hygienic, air conditioned simplicity of the supermarket, I suppose it is a kind of heaven.... This is the fresh food end. Clothing and hardware is across the roundabout and down the hill. So far Sister Petchey has not yet been down the hill....shhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
PS The street musicians are not part of the market, I just love street music and these guys were good so they provide the background music. They were in Syntagma Square.
